MV CLEAN BANDIT - SYMPHONY CINEMATOGRAPHY BREAKDOWN PART 2

 

Location 
We were very lucky to work with wonderful art director Mat Staruch who was amazing in filling

LIGHT: ARRI M18 + 1/4 STRAW + 1/4 DIFFUSION, FlAG, HAZER 

The shot: Two men wake up together in bed on a sunny day. 

The bedroom set up was scheduled right in the middle of the day.  On the location scout I knew it wouldn't matter for timing since the sun was only coming through the window only early morning and angle wasn't right, so we planned to use M18 to create the effect. We striked it through the window next floor. We also placed a tree brunch in front of it which create more life in the background. On the camera left we had flag for Neg fill and added some haze to finish things off.​
